Apparently, the use of LinkedIn has gone up 2400%

That is one big statistic!

If used well, Social Media can attract our ideal clients to us and therefore increase our revenue streams.

Used, but not efficiently, without consistency and without a clear message, then it could be argued that it's a waste of time doing any social media!

So to keep it simple, easy and efficient, and developing a plan for your social media is a must.

I would suggest using the same kind of post each day

On a MONDAY you do a planning post!

  • Plans for the day ahead.

  • Plans for the week ahead.

  • Plans for the coming year.

  • Plans for a new product or service.

  • Your plans for you, your life, business and clients.

This is reflecting your personal brand, in your hopes, dreams and commitment.

I could easily make a post saying...

Who's dreaming of a holiday?

My eldest daughter lives in Melbourne and I went to visit her at the beginning of 2023.

I'm forever dreaming of jetting off to visit her, and perhaps a little visit to Singapore along the way.

Who else is dreaming?

If so what of?

 

On TUESDAY you could talk about pain!

  • A problem a client has - that you are helping her solve.

  • A case study post about how you solved a problem.

  • A problem you had that you overcame that your clients often have. 

 Talking about your pains and struggles allows others to connect to your vulnerability

I could put out a post saying... 

Clients who run businesses aren't the only clients I have.

Because Personal Brand is so wound up with who we are and what we stand for, I often have clients who come to me just because they want to reconnect with who they are. They may have had a busy career, bought up a family and been side-tracked by what other people want them to do. 

I came to defined my own personal brand, because although I had lots of skills I wasn't sure what they added up to and so felt lost and unfulfilled.

Personal Brand covers a wide range of topics, but essentially it is about self-awareness of who you are and what makes you tick, and if you're a business owner value your business offers others.

Do you have any clients, that on first look wouldn't be what you'd expect?

 

Moving on the WEDNESDAY and a post to do with the NOW!

  • How are you feeling right now?

  • What are you doing right now?

  • What do you wish you were doing right now?

  • What are you working on right now?

  • What is the biggest challenge you or your clients have right now?

My post could say...

With the increased footfall on LinkedIn - are you doing enough to be seen.

I sometimes think that no one see's my posts and lots are not even aware of what I do, and I post daily repeating my message in one form or another.

I know my clients feel this way too. so much so, that at times it stops them from posting at all, through the fear of it being a waste of time.

Do you ever worry that posting on Social Media is a waste of time?

  • What do you find easy and obvious than your audience may not?

  • Your Why - Do you know yours?
